That said, last year when BYU Hoops played SDSU (1st time, in Provo), I had to be at the Jazz game (work thing) and had no trouble getting the ESPN in-game updates on my phone evey 15 seconds from row 9 in the lower bowl (that's were we sit when work pays). THe 2 guys in front of me couldn't get an AT&T signal on their iPhones and were trying to get updates. Eventually, I just held out my phone so they could see.
Awesome!! I have T-Mobile now and have zero reception during games but I am switching to Sprint this weekend. Can't wait!

I have a way around it, put up a screen that shows all scores and our game statistics The whole game. Then we wouldn't have to check our phones for scores, i'm too excited or pissed during games to make coherent texts or phone calls.

Hey! That's enough crazy talk! We don't need those kinds of ideas floating around!
Oh, wait, that would be spectacular. I fully endorse this idea.

Hawk does have a giant screen - it's just in his cougar den down stairs.

I dropped T-mobile a while ago and picked up PAGE PLUS, who runs on Verizon's network basically!!!!
I've loved it. Saved me a TON of money. Although, for you guys who burn through data, it would not be the best plan, I just use my phone's wifi when at home and school and it works out great.
