Somehow, I don't think it's all on the players, but the two second and 2's and not making a first down either time. Overall, this offense is stumbling, fumbling, and falling........mizzoucoug wrote:So how many "execution" threads will there be after this one? If you people cannot see the Grand Canyon-esque gap in talent between us and TCU, USU, and the FSU's of the world then you are smoking something nice. Anae sucks, but we have zero playmakers on offense--Heaps included.
Amen!! We have great talent on offense but it has all gone sour with bad coaching. Jacobsen was the Texas high school player of the year!! He'd be ripping it up on another team with a different offensive coach.

Well as expected we lost to TCU. I was hoping that the offense would be more physical then that though. Now we get the crap in the MWC, I hope our offense looks better against them.

I will give him a full season of play before I crucify him. There are not many successful TRUE freshman QB's. So like I said, one full season then he gets no slack.storminmormon wrote:Let's stop apologizing for Heaps, he should be further along than he is now, even with his crappy circumstances. Does anyone want to dispute that?

It might be a good idea for Heaps to listen to the advice of the prophet to go on a mission. Then more magic could happen.

I believe in Heaps but I'm glad we've got Lark and Munns in the wings because I don't know if Heaps can hold up (mentally and physically) through this kind of heinous season.

Re: TCU-BYU Game Thread
I like Jerry Sloan's attitude when asked about adversity. He seems to bring up that the players need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and blaming circumstance. Just play and compete. That's all he asks. Maybe it's time for this team to quit feeling sorry, put on the jockstrap, and compete. Some of the coaches need to put on the jockstrap as well....

Re: TCU-BYU Game Thread
Well fellas, I'm done for this year. Just sold my season tickets. This is such a bad team, and until Bronco makes wholesale changes to offensive coaching, I'm just not interested in watching their dramatic ineptitude any more. Anae, Heaps, who cares who's fault it is. They couldn't score more than once in a free brothel.
