Good post Craig. What normally happens is that when everyone comes around to the right way of thinking they just pretend like they thought that all along.

I got murdered on the board for 2 years straight for calling out the Oline and the receiving core instead of the real problem, as everyone saw it, THE QUARTERBACK ( DUN DUN DUN ). I mean, our Oline had Reynolds on it, and a bunch of 4 year starters!

Now two years later everyone is pretending that they have always thought that the Oline was the biggest problem (which actually helped diffuse the Taysom Hill debate, you are all welcome for that groundwork).

The Oline is still the biggest problem, followed by the receivers, followed by the quarterback. That hasn't changed for 3 years now. Anyone not named Hoffman hasn't pulled their weight enough to give us a consistent #2 threat passing for 3 years.

Was this a coming out party for Apo and Ridley who have been hiding for a year and a half? Or was Houstons defense SO bad, that they couldn't guard a limping around Hoffman, and other guys that have been completely coverable by every other team that we have faced, including Middle Tennessee State? Time will tell. But don't expect an "I was wrong" from the overwhelming majority

What this year has shown is that it is the QB position that matters most. The fact that the offensive line is still the biggest problem but the offense is putting up huge numbers, goes to show that it wasn't the offensive line that was the problem. It was the quarterback. The last three years we simply didn't have a QB who was good enough. This year we do.

Imagine what happens the next two years when the offensive line continues to improve?
