Cougarblue Is Dead to me

Well, with this post you will probably be banned from CB permanently anyways. Tannerc admitted to me that my account with CB has now been placed on a permanent ban. Why was my account put on permanent ban? NOT because of anything I did on their site...but because of this thread:

That is right. I am banned for comments made on a completely different forum. When I confronted Tannerc about it he said the post I linked shows I don't want to be at CB so why should it matter if I am banned or not anyways. I asked him, "...if a similar post was made on myspace or Facebook would that person be banned from CB as well?" His response, "If I see it that person will be banned too." :shock:

So like I say, If you don't care that you will shortly be banned from CB, then let this thread stand because that is what I did. He had to go out of his way and seek me out on this forum, a completely different website, to decide to ban me!?! :shock: I don't know why but it seems to me that he has an issue with me personally to go through the trouble of seeking me out here to ban me over there.

That goes for anyone else who posted in that thread. I am really surprised that those who posted in the "Why little faith in moderation" thread are not permanently banned...because that is the same thing I did but that took place on THEIR website. (I am not throwing you under the bus their, Brad). I am just further proving my point that I have been singled out among posters from CB to be treated as such.

I'm glad I was PM'd by Kiwi. I essentially quit logging on - because I was so tired of the moronic trolls & idiot pot stirrers. This feels good. Thx Bruthas!!!!!

I'm working on some new emoticons for this site now. The ones I did for Cougarblue were paid for by them (not my idea, they contacted me with an offer after I had voluntarily started on them), so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't like having their icons ported over to a competing site. The new ones will be different than the others but don't worry, I'll give them my best.

Don't fell bad at all. I volunteered to do new emoticons when they changed CB's board format and was only approached later by the management for pay (I would have done them either way). In truth, the amount they gave me probably seemed fair to them but was a paltry compensation for the hours I put into it---so in effect I was doing it as charity anyway.

The only reason why I bring it up is that because they paid for them, it creates a legal issue if I just ported the icons over here, even with minor modifications.

I guess that means I am not a troll. I am pleasantly suprised

I have not given up on cb all together yet, but I think i was just as vocal as most in criticizing the moderators. I have had a fair amount of private communications with them and been warned before. While I must say they have become better, it is interesting to see what we were all saying would happen if it didn't change happen.
