I'd already mowed the lawn at halftime trying to work it off. So I didn't see the end. My daughter runs in my room and said they won on a hail Mary. I turn on the game and it's over. I start watching where I had left off and all of a sudden the game is done taping, even with the 1/2 hour extension.

I start watching the BYUtv after-game show and it only tapes 2 frickin minutes!!!!

Geez, I feel like a rookie. Now I've got to watch it at 10 and not in HD.
Yet worth it! :)

Kind of surprised I didn't get kicked out of my hotel for going absolutely crazy when he Matthews came down with that. It would've been worth it though.

I'm surprised my neighbors didn't call the cops imagining a horrible murder occurring in my house with all the screaming going on.

I bet we sounded like a bunch of girls at the Taylor Swift concert last night

For a second I thought you'd say it sounded like US at the Taylor Swift concert last night. Good call on not letting it slip that we were there!

Wow. Just, wow. I knew that Mangum would be good, and that he would not be cowed by the big game. But how often do Hail Marys ever work out? Shades of 1980! Tommy Armstrong and Mitch Mathews were both crying after the game, but for obviously different reasons. I still can't believe how this ended. I kind of feel sorry for the Huskers and their fans. They were shell shocked. Many had their heads in their hands.

Things fell apart in the second half, after key defensive losses. One interesting development, though, was seeing the BYU D get stops on 3rd and 3, with TFL, I think at least three times late in the game, keeping the game within reach. That was one thing that turned in our favor finally, after all the failures to get stops on 3rd and long pass plays. Mike Riley must be scratching his head, after attempting to exploit the loss of NG Tuiloma with those draws up the middle.

Bummer about Taysom. Maybe Tanner can use his redshirt next year if Hill decides to rehab and try again.

Nice play by several Cougar receivers today. Not much production from Algie. He's likely kicking himself for dropping that soft touch swing pass that should have scored. He was probably looking toward the end zone rather than concentrating on the ball. We should see better games to follow for Brown. With Hill out, BYU's OL must find a way to open things up for the RB's, or they will struggle in up-coming games.

Kudos to the Big 10 officials for calling this game objectively. That was refreshing, compared to treatment we've gotten from the ACC and the PAC 10 in the past.

I am emotionally exhausted after this one.

I don't think there is any way Taysom redshirts. He has a bright finance career ahead of him, and all his off-season rehabbing got him was most of one game. No, unfortunately I think we have seen the last of Taysom, and I count myself lucky for ever having watched him play. He was an electric playmaker and just an overall good dude. Good luck and a speedy recovery!

Absolutely. Whats the point of having a watch party if you don't record it?
