I am seeing Excitement! Passion! Jumping around!

Post by Kbear »

This is very exciting for me to see our team really excited and really playing well. I am disappointed that some of you thought that we would not play well.... 17-0 5:57 left in the half. Harvey is a monster and Pitta ROCKS GOOOOO COUGS!!!!

Agreed, the emotion from the players has been the best part of the game so far.

Rich is also having a great game.

The last thing AF needed was a lackluster performance by BYU vs UNM, because now the Cougs have something to prove to the fans and themselves.

I dont' expect this game to be close

BYU 34 AF 10

When I posted that, I thought I was being a little overly optimistic..guess not

How bout Logan today. He's got to be a good foot shorter than the receivers he's matching up with and doing just fine. You know that they schemed to get one on one vs Logan, and he's holding his own.

That was a very good game with the offense getting a little sloppy after the bogus unsportsmanlike penalty against Hall that wiped out the TD. Max's performance when he's angry isn't as good as when he's focused. But I loved the spirit he showed during the game.

What's funny is later on in the game, Logan had a HUGE pass break-up and Pendleton came up behind him and was celebrating with him, and then starting pushing him over and over again in the back, and Logan finally fell down, and then as he got up Pendleton tackled him to the ground in excitment.

Lots of passion on both sides of the ball. They looked the most like the 2006 team that I've ever seen from them.

I thought that was hilarious, but was very surprised the refs didn't flag BYU for that.

It was really good to see the players having a lot of fun, and the fans were really getting into it. It was one of the most electric nights at LES in a long time.

The only downer in the game was the three jerks that sit next to us, who spent the whole game talking about how glad they were that Max was going to be gone soon, and how he is a lousy QB.
