Maybe we need to replace USU from our schedules.

7 opponents will likely be ineligible for bowls, plus FCS SUU....so only 4 bowl teams on the schedule.

At the start of this season, who woulda thought UCLA, Mich St, and Miss St would be struggling to make a bowl in week 11.

Also interesting that 3 of the 4 teams to beat us are currently in the top 25: #10 West Virginia (8-1), #11 Utah (8-2), #22 Boise State (9-1)

While surprising it's not at all shocking to me. Every team often thinks they face a killer schedule when they have a few big name teams on the schedule, but the reality is you often think of the great years each of those teams have had and ignore their off years. The chances every team you face will be having a great year the year you play them is pretty small.

the chance that all of them fall flat on their face the year you play them is also small.

We should be hosting Utah St. on a 3-for-1 basis, as in the past, and most MWC, CUSA, and MAC teams as one-and-done payday home games. THAT is how BYU will get P5-like schedules.

Then, get some more series like Minnesota, Virginia, Baylor, and Mississippi St. and fill in the gaps with Hawaii and AAC opponents.

Toledo is closing in on a Top 25 ranking themselves.

I agree. BYU is running $5M in the black every year which is ridiculous. All of that money should go to payday games or FB coaching salaries. BYU should have 7-8 home games a year.

If they need more money they should ask the donors.
