Re: What will come next season?
The Oregon governor extended her executive order to July 6 (after independence day no less). Not sure when the state will open up. I really dislike our governor now. I signed a petition last year to recall her but it did not get enough signatures. I hear there is a new one out.
She says that rural counties with no cases can reopen May 15. If no cases why wait? Hospitals are empty and going broke so she made them wait a couple more weeks to reopen and then limited how many surgeries they can do. No logic or sense at all. She is not running for reelection so she does not care what we think.

Since BYU is indy, we can go our own way. Each league might do something different. Other leagues go with 9 games, we could play 12 assuming we could find someone to play early on? there might be some different possibilities.
For example, Washington sounds like they could not start practicing until mid July according to their governor.

If people only play conference games BYU will essentially be locked in to only playing other independents.

It is possible but I do not think ESPN would like that. They would see if it could be improved.

Have you seen what ESPN is having to do for content these days? There was a cornhole tournament on the other day.
I don't think ESPN is going to be any type of hurdle to football games being played this Fall.
Without football this Fall, ESPN as we know it may not survive.

What's happening to season ticket holders? Will there be refunds?

They will probably attempt to have the amounts applied to next season.byufan4ever wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 2:29 pm What's happening to season ticket holders? Will there be refunds?
