Re: NEW 2020 schedule
So, with the MAC cancelling the Northern Illinois game for them, here is BYU's schedule as of this morning--only six games right now:
Sept 7 - BYU @ Navy, ESPN (confirmed)
Oct 2 - USU @ BYU (confirmed)
Oct 16 - Houston @ BYU (should be good -- AAC allowing 4 nonconf games)
Nov 6 - BYU @ BSU (BSU has to drop one non-conf game still)
Nov 14 - SDSU @ BYU (confirmed)
Nov 21 - North Alabama @ BYU (Big South conference has not announced firm plans for season yet)
I am guessing that the North Alabama game will be cancelled within the week as it looks like the FCS will be postponing the championship to the Spring, which will drive all the FCS teams to move to Spring football.
I would think BSU would keep the BYU game above the other non-conference games, but I wonder if the Broncos are playing games--they haven't confirmed they are keeping BYU yet, so are they trying to renegotiate that contract and get a better payout from BYU since BYU needs that game more than Boise right now?

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
It's only a matter of time before college football is cancelled for this fall. No one is going to play. All it takes is one player to test positive and everyone is going freak out.

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
We'll be lucky to play more than 4 games. If we'd have formed up with our old rivals we would have more opportunity's to play.

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
According to follow up reports that Dan Patrick misread the tea leaves, maybe the Big10 season is "only mostly dead."

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
MWC has cancelled the Fall Season
With that, here's BYU's current football schedule:
Sept 7 - BYU @ Navy, ESPN (confirmed)
Oct 16 - Houston @ BYU (should be good -- AAC allowing 4 nonconf games)
Nov 21 - North Alabama @ BYU (Big South conference has not announced firm plans for season yet)

My bigger and best guess is that, by the end of the week, the BoT and President Worthen pull the plug on BYU Football this Fall.

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
Probably won't happen, but a second BYU-Nebraska would be fun.

Re: NEW 2020 schedule
Quick join the AAC for this season while we have a chance to lock up a bunch of games.
