The Utes jumped one spot to No. 12 in the AP poll after beating Arizona State 34-13 to open Pac-12 play, while the Cougars stayed put at No. 19 after beating Wyoming 38-24.
In the coaches poll, Utah moved up one spot to No. 13 while BYU jumped three spots to No. 20.
