BYU 33% better than UCLA, Arizona or Stanford

Post by Isola »

At my wife's urging, today I bought tickets to the BYU-Oregon State game. As a side note, my wife is the best. In 2008 she took me to the BYU-Washington game for our 5th anniversary. This year it is the Oregon State game. What a wife.

Anyway, I was checking Oregon State's ticket pageand noticed the prices for their various home games.
$35 Sacramento State
$45 Arizona
$45 Stanford
$45 UCLA
$60 BYU
$75 Washington

Seems like the Beavers have figured out who is the bigger draw in Corvallis. Not bad for a school nearly 900 miles away, approximately the same as UCLA, and 300 miles further than Stanford.

Ticket prices for 2012 are up too. Utah-OSU tickets are only 20 dollars.

So Sacramento State has a higher ticket price than UofU :utard: ? Or was that a joke?

The OSU/Utah game is at Utah, so it's Utah's prices for that game. Even though they've raised their ticket prices this year, apparently they're still a good deal in the Pac 12.

Very interesting. But the Pac-12 presidents said they need 9-conference games in order to fill stadiums! Maybe they just need to schedule BYU...

Well I think they could schedule 8 or 9 games with BYU if they wanted to. I think they view us as a threat and don't want us to succeed to lead to USC making the same move. Wouldn't that be awesome if they joined the WCC with us and football indy.
