Didn't Riley's abs or his hair tip you off?

;)

He beat us in Logan, the games Hill got fired.

Ugh. I was in Logan for that game. First and last time I did that! I remember the game looked terrible in every variable. It was the first game since the Motor City bowl (where Federick threw his tantrum on live TV), where I saw a BYU team that looked dispirited, like they simply didn't want to play the game any more. The Hill bit later explained all that.

The bright spot was late in the game when a new frosh jumped in with some fire. A receiver who made the game's one exciting play with decent YAC. It was J.D. Falslev.

It was pretty fun to see him walk in to my classes the next year when I was teaching at the Y, but I couldn't bring myself to geek out in front of the students. Guess I should have. He transferred out after just one class so I never got a chance to tell him how much I enjoyed watching him play. I didn't recognize the kid sitting next to him ( I wasn't paying close attention) until after they both dropped the class. Funny. It was Riley.

haha, that's funny. What class was it?

In short, Anae has found a way to make up for "it," whatever the fatal flaw might be. This year it would have been that Hill is inexperienced and that he is a horrible passer. (Did anyone here really think he could improve from a 33% completion rate to a 75% completion rate against comparable opponents in just four games?).

.

Actually, yes, someone did predict such a turn around. On Sept 23rd, BYULV said this in the Taysom Hill 79 PER Thread:

tHill is going to be an amazing QB, probably as soon as this year. By years end we will be looking back on these bench Hill posts and wondering what we were thinking. His passing is horrible right now, yet we are 2-3 plays away from being 3-0. He doesn't need to have a PER of 160 to be successful, just better than he is right now. If he can improve to PER of 110-130 consistently, our offense will be outstanding. All he needs to do is continue to improve his reads, put a little touch on his passes, get his receivers to run better routs (they were out of place a lot Saturday night) and to catch the passes that hit their hands and he will be a 110-130 QB. He is not as far off of being great as many on Here believe. This week he will look really good. Next week will be a good test. After conference weekend I think we will be singing a different tune regarding THill.

Credit BYULV. Did BYULV learn third person grammar from Karl Malone? :-)

Great call. I wasn't as bold, but I could clearly see that receivers were not catching the ball and THill started to press and overthrow.

Have to credit the Bibster for the third person references. Just needed to have a little fun. I love the tone of our posts a lot better right now than a month or so ago.

I do not follow The Trumpster. I have heard others refer to him as The Donald.

How does he reference himself? Just curious.

If my memory serves me correctly it is the advanced business writing courses. One of the better more practical courses I took. Walked away with some new found skills.
