Cardinals Fans Love Max Hall

I've been watching the live chat on the game as well as following the game thread on their official forum. The guy is quickly becoming a star with them. It may have a bit to do with how much they hate Anderson, but still, it's nice to see.



My favorite comments from the forum so far:



"It's no coincidence our good fortune comes the week we start a Leprechan at QB. Max Hall points coming up!"



then this response:



"It's the Luck O' the Mormons laddie!"

Hall showed some guts trying to run in for the TD and getting creamed. Fortunately for him his fumble was picked up by his team and run in for the TD. He looked a little shaken. Otherwise playing pretty well, but the AZ D is keeping them in the game.

Is this game online???

3 minutes left, AZ has a 10 point lead. NO has the ball, but it's gonna take a Miracle for NO to comeback and win.



Looks like Max will get a W for his first career start. It wasn't a great performance, but it was solid. Not bad, not bad at all for a rookie making his first ever start, and against the reigning NFL champs nonetheless.

Wow. 30 points without a single rushing or passing TD. Cards have a great set of DBs who made some great plays.



Max had an okay showing for a first timer. Commentators were very complimentary. Hope he's not too banged up for next week.

Not bad at all for your first career start AGAINST the defending Super Bowl Champions.

Max Hall grew up in Mesa AZ. Doesn't suprise me at all that the Phoenix fans love him.

Max did a really good job. He did not get rattled at all by that early pic. The announcers where really praising Max hall's heart and guts in that game. I think he did a great job first game against the super bowl champs. Me and my wife have a bet on how fast cards.com will get Hall jerseys up...Go Max

Loved the part of this articled where Hall goes up to an 11 yr. Veteren linebacker and then tells him to "get your mind right". Apparently the linebacker took it well, liked the fire in Max.

That same linebacker has come up with the right name for Max:



"Hall brings the fire that was never Matt Leinart's style (Haggans calls the rookie Maximus, from the Russell Crowe character in "Gladiator")"

That has to be the hit of the year thus far! I counted four defenders at the SAME time. After Max cleared the cobwebs, I think the sideline microphone picked him up saying "I still hate Utah fans. They are classless." to the trainers. I knew then he was ready to go back in....

He's also Danny White's (another Phx favorite) nephew.
