6-1/180/4.55 (Lone Peak HS, Highland, UT)

LDS plans to serve a Mission. Younger brother of Jacob Hannemann 2010 BYU recruit.

True Blue Sports review of his play at the 2011 All Poly Camp in Bountiful:

"Cougar prospect Micah Hanneman 6’ 180 (Lone Peak, Utah) stood out among the defensive backs. Hanneman had very little trouble covering anyone in individual drills. Even more impressive was his soft hands as a receiver when he switched over to the offensive side of the ball during drills. Micah made some spectacular catches including a deep one handed grab in the corner with his left hand."

Committed. Will gray shirt 2012, play 2013 and then go on a mission.

Not sure how excited I am about this one. He gets beaten pretty badly on multiple plays on his own youtube video.

If ye love the tranquility of servitude better than the contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

He has to be good if he was offered after a few days of performing at camp. He met with Bronco for almost an hour. This tells you that the Y sees something in the kid as an athlete - especially if he had been attracting attention from the U, USU, SU. He apparently will play boundary corner or free safety. He has the ideal size for this position.

Well I certainly hope he does well. The biggest problem I had was his reaction time on the cover two. He got lost on some play-action and several guys just blew right past him. Can't have that as a FS.

Apparently he did pretty well at the all-poly camp so hopefully he has improved. He is also pretty young for a rising senior.
