We need somebody who can handle the ball well, drive and dish, as well as score on occasion when needed. How'd Carlino look during the Blue and White game??

Jimmer schooled him most of last year. He should be further ahead as a redshirt freshman.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, expecting him to come in and make us forget out PG problems of the start of the season. I'm hopeful for improvement, but I don't expect a significant change, especially not early in the start of his season.

I'm not expecting much either other than a consistent presence at the position and someone that doesn't turn the ball over twice as many times as they pass it for a bucket.

At this point, I'll settle for the traditional BYU PG who's main role is get the ball up the court, move it around and not turn it over.

I was impressed with Winder last night. Has pretty good handles and doesn't turn it over much.

Makes me wonder if Cusik and Winder had been running the point during the Utah State game if things would have ended up differently?? Zylstra had some costly turnover's in the 2nd half of that game

I am starting to wonder if when Carlino is eligible if Zylstra will be pushed to the bench. I am getting ahead of myself but Winder can do so much more than Zylstra. Or it could be Harrison or Rogers.

Cusick and Winder combined for about 50 minutes and 0 turnovers in one of the games last week, I believe.

Yeah, I like zylstra, but he's the wrong guy to be bringing the ball up the court.

Winder was also able to score a few times which will help keep teams honest defensively
