But let's say that the entire conference got together and told, say - I dunno, I'll pick a totally random team - say, New Mexico, for example - that we all hate their guts and want them to leave forever and never come back... you don't think they'd do it out of pure shame and embarrassment?

The MWC cannot kick out any of it's initial members. They have to consent, which means we have to buy them out. No one is going to accept a buy-out if a BCS invite for the conference is remotely possible.

Confirmed, the MWC charter does not provide for a way, other than 100% consensus, for an original member to be removed.

Does that also include the original member?



I actually like the MWC teams we have. I would have a hard time letting any of them go, maybe I'm just too sentimental.

I hadn't realized that this CougarBlue breakaway group was so solidly for Boise St. expansion. Perhaps rather than join Father Lehi and his few righteous remnants running from a Jerusalem-esque destruction, I've inadvertently joined the Gadianton robbers and been enticed away by their much speaking!
