I know you love the cute little story that you think is what happened.

Why does everyone resort to name calling and bashing people when they don't agree with something. I think it is the weirdest thing. I have seen it on all message boards. This is actually very tame compared to what I have been called. I guess it's what you can get away with when you aren't face to face and have no accountability. It's amazing how people are willing to defend a story that they don't even know, to the point of being so completely rude to someone.

Please stop referring to what you know about the story. Assuming you know what did happen, and that's a huge assumption, it does no good to come here and flaunt it around.

The discussion on this site has to do with what the crowd was chanting when they said 'no means no' which has only one implication, rape. There is 0 chance that the majority of students at another university know anything about what happened, so to use that as an excuse to come back and once again try to paint a BYU student athlete with a dark brush with veiled implications of what you know is classless.

BYU either knows what happens or they don't, either way, in the long run each person involved will have their own consequences.

Are you serious? How in the world do you know that? Plus I never said a majority of the students...I actually questioned how much the student body does know. I said a specific team and/or teams know.

For a bunch of religious schools, they don't really support (or maybe just don't understand) the idea of redemption/forgiveness.

That's a pretty broad brush to paint with. . .

Gonzaga had two players in 2007 who had well-publicized legal trouble during the season that resulted in their suspension from the team. Many felt they should have been expelled. They were given opportunities to redeem themselves by the school. Once certain conditions were met, reinstatement occurred. One player transferred, the other finished his career in good standing and completed his degree.

Have you told Brandon Davies he's a criminal?

I have told him I believe he behaved criminally....as in shameful, disgraceful. I never said he was a criminal and I never said he committed a crime.

Criminally doesn't mean shameful or disgraceful. Your understanding of the language is criminal!

You're kidding right? You actually there's a chance the students at another university know the real story, that you only hint at and that we BYU fans are in the dark about it?

I'll reiterate, you're a joke. And I'd tell you that even if I knew you and you were sitting right here next to me as I type.

You're right, I don't know what happened. But I'm pretty sure I know more about the situation than a group of students going to school in another state. I certainly don't think Davies raped someone.

Now, if you think he raped someone and that chanting such implications is valid, then you have a legal and moral responsibility to turn Davies in.

What the crap are you talking about? I never even implied that! I never said I thought it was okay that they said "no means no". I said I thought it meant something else and I even said I DONT KNOW for sure if it did!! Of course I would turn him in to the POLICE if I thought he did that. I don't give a rats behind if you think I'm a joke.

Yes I absolutely know that some students at St. Mary's know the real story. Some fans and students at BYU do too.

Ok, I can see that.

I still that you are very wrong to think that "no means no" could mean anything other than an allusion to rape.

And I'm pretty sure that the number of "some students at St. Mary's who know the real story," isn't enough to chant that loud enough for it come over the broadcast.

"No means no" is a reference to rape and nothing else.

That's pretty creepy and weird that students at a school in a different state with no more than a conference membership with know so much about a college age kid. Super creepy.

Don't you think people know people, even people are far away as another state. It doesn't even seem weird at all.

I never said I personally thought it meant something else. Again, I know what the phrase usually means. How about I just say the students said it and totally meant it mean and vicious and nobody knows anything about anything. That will probably make people happier.

Well, that thread went in a different direction...

I will agree that some in the BYU fanbase are already turned-off to St. Mary's because of some of the chants of the student section.

Both fanbases didn't like how the San Fran game ended (timeouts, the dunk).

And I know Gonzaga fans don't like what happened in the Big Dance last year, and think that we're all arrogant (which I am).

Welcome to the WCC!

It will probably be much closer to the truth.

I am so relieved you helped me figure out what I know. From now on I will just check with you first to see if I really know what I am talking about. I'm sure you will have the correct answer!

Like I said, you're a joke.
