WCC tourney changes in 2014

Going back to a traditional 10 team format. Also Pit is looking for a home game this year.

I like it. Doesn't drag the tournament out a week either.



Wonder if they'll move a year when the contract expires with the New Orleans center.

there was some discussion of where to move to. Seattle, Portland and Bay area were mentioned. The Seattle areana would be interesting but is not central for the WCC.

I liked the double bye (giving 1 & 2 seeds entrance to the semis). It actually rewards the regular season.

I wonder if they will be moving the championship game to Sunday? :bug:

Bay Area makes sense. With the Warriors moving to SF they could have it at the Oracle Arena. BART stops right at it, so people could use public trans to get in and out. Plenty of hotels, etc. in the area.



SMC, Santa Clara, and SF schools are all in the area; so it's as central as you're going to get for the WCC.

It would be great for me to go to the Tourney in the Bay area.. my fingers are crossed....
