Apo gets open, but Riley only makes one read on most plays, and it's to #2. There was a specific play where Apo was on the wide side of the field to the left, and just destroyed the corner on a Dig route that would have gone for a TD had Riley even looked left. The Utes had rolled coverage to the short side of the field, but Riley tried to get it into Hoffman.



He just needs to look for him.

Alisa and Williams ran the ball just fine tonight we just didn't use them enough. It seemed like the coaching staff never taught the new guys on the O-line to handle a loud environment which contributed to a ton of our false starts. Didn't we have like 6 false starts for the game? That's only what, 30 yards total in penalties. Daniel Sorensen's 15 yard penalty in the second half cost us half that much and a field goal. The O-line didn't hold much if I recall any at all. Personally I think Riley made the O-line look worse than they actually did.

I'll bet Lark would find him more often. Pretty sad when a guy of Apo's talent rarely gets the ball thrown his direction which is squarely on Riley
