I have an honest question.

Which quarterback in question played a Utah game where his center was hiking the ball 6 feet over his head, and the O line wasn't even slowing down the defensive rush, and his fellow ball handlers were handing the ball to Utah every other play? Which one on the other hand, was the one who was handing the ball to Utah (or trying to) every other play?

It was because of this insane man crush that I have stayed away from this site for about a year. Good bye again for probably more than a year this time.



By the way, I don't think anyone who has a mancrush on Riley has done this, or will. But go back and take a look (if you have them on DVD as I do) at the Texas and Utah games from last year. Jake did not lose those games. His play in the Utah game (over 200 yards in the first half - amazing against a Utah D - while his teamates were trying to throw the game made that even more unbeivable).



No, I did not have a mancrush on Jake. I just thought the fans were garbage for the way they treated him, and still are judging by this putrid site. Any sane man would have transferred who was being treated that way.


Since you quoted me out of context - I would be happy to see you leave for a year or two - then maybe come back and support your team instead of bagging on your team.



What did you quote out of context - ie omit - the part where I said Riley Nelson was far worse than Jake Hesps in the BSU game. My nearly as bad comment - was comparing U 2012 to U 2011 where I felt Jake set the tone of playing scared and giving up right from the first bad snap.



And IMHO - the OL if 2012, so far, is even worse than the OL in early 2011.

Nailed it. The constant negative energy of bagging on YOUR and OUR team really gets to me and especially when your logic SIMPLY fails. Someone else reminded you that you claimed if you were on the defense you would QUIT, because NFL does not take players from losing teams.



And yet - they do all of the time. I SIMPLY gave you some examples.

I didn't claim anywhere that I would quit. That was someone else. Besides those are two different topics. It is called "reading comprehension," or don't they teach you that at iphone school?



SIMPLY put, you've been an a-hole the past two weeks. Show me where I have lacked respect to the BYU team. You have been lacking respect to people all over the place. You used to be a nice guy, I think. Now you are just The Incredible Hulk behind a computer screen. It's funny and ironic, that about a year ago you were the one calling for "Mars" to be more gentle, like "ElderMars" used to be. That you liked the old eldermars better because he was nicer and less bitter. And then you come out and shout insults at anything that moves within a 10 foot radius.

And to the poster that said that they take NFL players from bad teams. Sure they do. But they take players from better teams more, in higher rounds for more GUARANTEED money. That is why players want to go to good teams in good conferences. They get better NFL exposure. I can't believe you are all arguing contrary to that fact.

Well then - there must be tons of late round draft picks or undrafted players tearing it up once they get on a team and prove that they were overlooked - tons - simply tons.



And what an opportunity for the genius GM that first notices this pattern - just go comb over the bad teams and cull out the gems lost in the shuffle.



Now - had you made the point that recruits want to play for ranked teams and teams that win and teams that get on TV - my Ute fan friend was ticked that once again he cannot get PAC 10 network for U and UW games - big stadiums, and quality opponents. Since life is full of trade-offs, they almost never get it all



But yeah I would buy that.

Yes re Elder Mars. That was me. Re the bagging on the team - which includes all CURRENT coaches and players. I will try to comply with your request on my rotary dial QPhone - TIC - as best I can with it's, my, and Riley Nelson's limitations.



Re the I would quit quote I thought I had seen - I have openly admitted that the Zphone, my bad eyes, the small screen, and poster's cutting and pasting partial quotes from others, has caused me to think the person quoting something was actually saying it, etc.



So The Good Old Bibster will go back and look. But, I am curious - Honest Question for sure - when in the HECKCK did U ever like The Bibster aka Bib, Bib2, and Cougarbib2 and Cougarbib?

RIley wasn't a good qb when he wasn't hurt, and now you are supposed to support him with no throwing arm and no legs? The defense is playing the best games of their careers, and losing. NFL scouts are passing them by because they aren't winning games, and they want defensive players from "winning teams."



It is insanity to want Riley Nelson to start. If I were a defensive player I'd stick up for myself. But maybe that would get you kicked out of "the band of brothers" ...

I'm actually working on a new AngerMars persona. I'm going to try it out on the next podcast. Warning: I will be shouting the F-word over and over again for the first 20 minutes or so.

(Seriously ... we were at the Portland Temple for my daughter's wedding. There was this guy walking around in this red :utard: shirt and hat. My son saw him ... laughed and yelled, "BYU FOR LIFE!!!" The guy got mad ... what a :utard: !)
