I am not blaming hill for anything. I am saying that utah state is a GOOD defense and isn't going to let a Freshman QB do what he does best. They have taken his strength away. A Sr Taysom hill who has been in the offense for 4 year would probably shred this defense but a Freshman Taysom hill isn't going to do it. Brandon Doman is playing a safe offense because our Defense is awesome and probably just won the game for us.

He should call the same plays he calls for Hill as he does for Nelson. He doesn't make nearly the same mistakes that Nelson does either.

If you can play, you can play. If you have to cut the playbook back this much for the kid, he sucks (I don't think he sucks). Also, if you have to be this limited just because he's a freshman, play the senior Lark.



When Doman let Hill go out and make plays, BYU scored a TD. Take the reins off.

And... Hits like that on Taysom's leg is what makes me afraid he'll catch Riley's injury bug.

That's why I hate all the QB draws this year. I feel like the option and QB draws account for about 60% of the offense. I know it's not really that high, but it feels like it.

Utah State has as good a defense as Boise State. Hill played well. A healthy Riley Nelson would not have had his way tonight. Look at our enemic running game against that defense.
