Big deal. Every time I raise global warming here I get pissed on ;) ;) Just joshing. On my mission I got chased into a house by a rabid dog. The homeowner did not know us but saw what was going to happen--getting mauled--so invited us in. We ended up giving a discussion. Don't recommend that as a way to get into a home but....it did work there!

I was on a hit list on my mission. My companion was number one on the list, the mailman (not Karl Malone) was the second guy and I was number 3. I wasn't sure how I got bumped by the Mailman, but thought that if our wacky "investigator" thought that I'd stick arond after he shot my comp, and while he was targeting the mailman, he had another thing coming!

The way I heard the story embellished was that it was a nickname a father always called his son. A kid who used to work for me once told a substitute teacher at high school that was his nickname. The teacher asked him to spell it out as he wrote it on the board. So he did, omitting the space between the words.

Hawk, those were all classics. I hope everyone who read your post checked out the reference. Reminds me of a few stories - which shall not be posted here.
