I've been hearing rumors from Lakers fan that D'antoni may want to go after Jimmer because he fits his system. I gotta be honest, it would be VERY difficult for me to root for anyone, even Jimmer, in the purple and gold.

totally agree Schmoe. I would have to stop following Jimmer and just hope that he did well. I can't stand that team.

I third it.

I think you people are insane, but my perspective is growing up in Nevada where there aren't any pro teams, so I have no deep rooted love or hate for any pro teams. I've always just rooted for whatever team has BYU guys on the roster

I'd root for Jimmer to have 20 assists and 70 points on 80% shooting in a losing effort every game.

Assuming all 20 shots made were 2 point FGs and nobody else on the team made a FT, this would mean the Lakers averaged 110 points a game and still lost.

This astonishing lack of defense would be blamed on Jimmer.

Jimmer's not slowing down tonight. They can't ignore the white guy on the court anymore. As has almost always been the case, the Kings are playing better with him on the court. Keep it up Jimmer. No mercy!

Sacramento may be the most incompetent professional sports team around, but I am certain there are other clubs who have their eye on Jimmer. He'd be a perfect fit as a sixth man for the Lakers or Thunder. Free Jimmer!

The only situation that would be worse for him would be if he got traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

lol. Or the royals. Man, it must suck to live in Kansas city

I would take KC over the my Indians anyday. LOL! Ownership and mgmt know about as much about baseball as they do about curling. BTW they wanted to know if anyone knows of any over the hill pitchers they can invite and sign they would like to know. Maybe Randy Johnson or Roger Clemens or how about Dennis Erickson? Anyone got their numbers to call?

How dare you?!?! The tribe will rise again!

Kings were forced into it. Brooks got hurt in game. Thomas missed the game. They played Evans at PG and he was ineffective. Jimmer was a great in the 2nd quarter with 10 points and 4 or 5 assists. I didn't see the 2nd half but looks like he wasn't as great.

Jimmer is much improved in the 7 games he's played so far this year. He's got a 2:1 assist:turnover ratio. Through seven games last year he was at 1.5:1. He is also +3 in +/-, through seven games last year he was -37.

At least Jimmer actually got some minutes this last game, and he was one of only two players in the plus category at the end of the night. Coach "Smart" LOL.

Uh, not so fast....unfortunately, in Lakers v. Queens game last night, JF logged 0 minutes. Leave it to the coach, who promised more minutes for the patient young man, to overlook the white guy.

So what if Garcia and another player DNP? AA coach is a hater.

Well, last game Jimmer got DNP'd.

Tonight, he played 8 minutes in the first half in which he scored 8 points and had 1 assist (then he got pulled). In the second half he eventually got 10 more minutes where he scored 4 points and had 2 more assists. So, in 18 minutes Jimmer had 12 points and 3 assists shooting 50% from the floor and 100% FT. The starting PG played 30 minutes, had 9 points, and 1 assist. I'm convinced that Smart is either a racist (see Jeremy Lin's minutes when he played for the guy) or just an absolutely awful coach, or both.

Smart is absolutely a racist pos. My wife was watching with me and once Jimmer got benched after sparking the team on yet another comeback I said "He's not getting any more meaningful minutes in this game." I turned off the game before he got back in apparently, but it's the same pattern every game. Jimmer will likely be benched for a while now.

Spot on analysis. Queens are unwatchable, JF needs to be moved soon. But Maloofs and Sac coach aren't very bright. JF absolutely needs a fresh start.

However, if Evans continues to sit due to injury, Jimmer may get some mins tonight against the Clippers. CP3 would prob. school him though, so look for IT.

At least the coach gave the Jimmer-treatment to a fellow brotha, IT, in the waning seconds of last night's game....saving IT for the LAC game, I'll bet.

Jimmer actually played 21 minutes last night. He had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and was 5-7 from the field, making some clutch shots late to take the lead and extend it. But the most impressive stat is the +/-. If you look down the column for the game, all the Kings players are single digits, but Jimmer is +13! Bet he rides the pine next game, can't have a white boy taking the spotlight in Smart country...

I'll have to check on Monday, I don't have my Jimmer spreadsheet at home, but that +13 might be a career high.

Good game last night. The game, as usual, changes when Jimmer is in there because he gets everyone involved. Even IT, whom I like, has caught the selfish bug from that roster a bit. But Jimmer sets the pace that suits the Kings best imo.

Maybe the problem isn't Coach Smart but Tyreke Evans? Didn't he miss the game?

Sad deal in Sacramento right now.

- Coach hasn't been able (or hasn't tried) to create a team first identity.

- Several skilled players who appear selfish.

- Log jam at point (Jimmer, IT, Brooks) all who are potential starters. Looking at the minutes played over the last couple games, it doesn't appear that Smart has any idea of whom he should be playing most.

- Possibly the worst run team in the NBA at the moment.

He is definitely part of the problem. He is a very talented player (like they all are lol) but he can't play D and never passes. But hey if he's hot at least he gets to showboat a bit.

Fixed it (unless you count the N.O. Seagulls...but nobody does).

I'm shocked, praise for Jimmer from his racist coach and teammates:

"Jimmer did a great job chasing J.J. Redick, where had to negotiate a lot of screens and I thought that was really big. He made a couple of big plays and shots for us as well."

-Coach Kieth "Not" Smart

"Dog, Jimmer got moves, dog. That *expletive* crazy! I just said *expletive* huh? Damn. But Jimmer got moves, it’s crazy. Man his moves are crazy! You just don’t expect it from Jimmer and he hits you with something crazy. But we’re definitely excited. Always feels good to have your teammates playing well, so that’s how it should be."

-Ballhog DeMarcus Cousins
