Um, I just got here and we're down 7-0. LOL! Wth is going on?

Definitely a catch. Keep the clock moving wow. I wonder if Hoffman was surprised to catch a ball around the numbers for the first time in his career.

Wow how Sorenson has fallen. Dude has got to find a new hobby cuz football just isn't working.

justin sorenson needs to go the way of Riley Nelson; when your injured SIT OUT.... Jay Drew tweeted that JS looks like his backs hurting..

Game is still early, but we are playing NMSU and yet the same weaknesses that we have witnessed since SJSU game are still prevalent:

Poor run-blocking - and no dominant rushing attack,

Terrible kicking game: missed 39 FG, missed PAT,

Defense has not been able to shut out NMSU, they appear to be uninspired and flat.

Hope D gets their act together and offense feeds off of their play.

Lark throws such a better ball than Nelson it's hilarious. That last TD throw was one you have to gun in there and he did a great job.

Very nice back shoulder throw there to Hoffman while scrambling and another one to Ridley.

Bad look there by Lark. Do we have a QB coach that teaches progression reads?

LOL great play calling. 3 guys get to Lark almost immediately. But hey we love empty backfields and hate screens.

James Lark is looking really good despite the poor O-line play. I like how he gets the ball out FAST.

It's nice to see a QB out there with QB skills. Lark should have been the starter from Utah on. Much different season if that were the case.

Lark with a 184 1st half PER.

As this game goes on and we see how capable James Lark is; is is further proof how much talent was wasted by starting RN over JL. Espn commentators "this is not your typical 3rd string QB"....No he's not; he's a 1st string QB with some awful coaching decisions.

I don't know about you guys but I've got a smile on my face. It's sure nice to see a QB who can throw and hit his WR's again.

James Lark has a quick and accurate release. He is spreading the ball around to lots of different WRs, TEs and RBs. He is calm under pressure and with one exception, pass to Friel in end one when double covered, hasn't forced a lot of throws into heavy coverage. Like what he offers at QB.

Has the "We are only going to use mobile QB's who can't throw" experiment now ended? We already knew Lark was mobile enough but he is also a traditional QB who can make all the throws w/o the risk of so many TO's. We also knew Nelson is a 1 read and run QB, which gets you some first downs but does not allow for an explosive, cohesive offense.

Please tell me that if Doman survives the offseason he develops Hill into a passer who runs only after making all the reads.

I daresay we could also state that one is a legit D1 QB and the other is fit to play for the former USU program. That is the difference.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves guys. We might just be suffering from RN syndrome where we get awesome QB play against subpar defense. Yes, he looks good but look at who he's playing. If he starts the bowl game and plays like this, then we can jump on the band wagon. Unfortunately, by then most of his talent will have been wasted.

Want to temper his play so far in that he is not facing level of pressure other top Ds have brought with front 7. Judgment should be rendered based upon his performance in bowl game. Again, one difference I see compare to Riley is that he spreads the ball around and throws a tight, accurate, catchable spiral.

Sad stat of game 184 yards passing, 37 yards rushing, 2-2 on 4th down. This presently shows that our rushing attack stinks as does our kicking game.
