It'll be interesting to see how he handles guys down low. Great job by Coach Rose getting him ready for WCC play

I hope he plays and plays well. My only concern is that he'll be too big and strong for the WCC refs to know how to call him.

We haven't seen him play; so, how do we know if he's ready?

I'm certainly excited to see what he can do, but let's not get too carried away with our expectations.

He'll probably come in off the bench for a few minutes at a time. And, if we've got a 15+ point lead heading into the last 8 min of the game he'll come in.

My hope is he gets his feet and positioning in tune so that when we play Gonzaga he'll be able to come in and push Harris around a bit.

I am pretty certain that he is all too practiced in being physical. Of course the rest will take time. But he will bring a physical nature to the whole team.

In the VERY least, it has to be beneficial for our bigs to be able to practice against someone who is bigger and stronger than them.

I have no statistical expectations for Kaufusi. I just want to see him defensively make people pay for coming into the key.

He takes up a lot of space! Love that he got in. Fans were calling for him. Greg Wrubell said in post game that Rose said hold the ball and Don't score. Delgado fed him in the post and he was a beast. He will get some offensive fouls and yes it will take some time to get him ready for non-garbage time.

But to great to see him in.

I think it was pretty clear that Rose was dismayed with the "showboating" BYU was doing in the final 5 minutes. Rained some 3s, got some easy dunks, pushed the pace... all after LMU waived the white flag. He probably told the entire team to hold the ball and not score, not just to Kaufusi.

The first thing Rose did was apologize to the LMU coaching staff and it was obvious LMU's coach is a good enough guy that he waived it off as no big deal, but I would be VERY surprised to see the same "roll over and act dead" LMU team in round 2.
