How Badly Does BSU Whoop Nevada? I'll Tell You How Bad...

The Wolf Pack of today are a different team than they were at the first of the year. Luke Lippincott has really recovered and is running well. Their quarterback whose name I can never spell is very good. I am going against the grain and picking Nevada by 3. Remember the 6 overtime game a couple of years ago? I grew up in Sparks so I am biased but I think it will be a game. There I said it. :bug:  :skeptic:

I don't think you can put Nevada or Fresno State behind Wyoming. The Cowboys lost a shut-out to an absolutely terrible Colorado team. Even CSU beat that Buffs squad. It's actually crazy that CSU's record has ended up as bad as it is and that Wyoming's record has ended up as good as it is.

Kind of changed your tune eh? Even gave the thread title a 360 and your initial thread comments are a tad different.... strong work... ;)

Hopefully you didn't bet the house on Nevada; Vegas doesn't allow edits

Ladies and gentleman, we have a game!

Coach Ault of Nevada was an idiot at times though.

- Punting on 4th and short when you're at midfield

- Kicking FG's deep in BSU's territory on 4th and short

I'm sorry, but you CAN'T play conservative football and expect to win when you're allowing your opponent to score a TD nearly every time they touch the ball.

Can't help but think that this one would be a lot closer had Nevada been a little bit more ballsy earlier on in the game.

BSU's defense is underrated. Having said that, this year in the MWC, the standings would be:

TCU

BSU

BYU/Utah

Utah/BYU

AFA

WYO

NEV (they lost to CSU and were SHUT OUT by ND for goodness sakes)

Fresno St/SDSU

SDSU/Fresno State

UNLV

CSU (played well early in the season)/UNM

UNM/CSU (and that's giving Fresno the conisideration that they also don't lose to CSU)

Please, please, PLEASE don't come in here with the weak stuff about NEV being 3rd in the MWC. ND wouldn't even be 6-5 playing in the MWC with a normal MWC OOC. They would have a minimum 3 losses in conference (and assuming they would have played BYU's schedule), would have had 2 more losses right there. A toss-up game with AFA and if they had to play at Laramie, there are two other possible losses right there. And Nev lost to them 35-0.

I have to say, if BSU played in the MWC, they would lose two games (probably 3). If they played BYU, Utah, Air Force, and TCU, they lose at least two here. I think they might lose one to Wyoming, SDSU, or maybe UNLV as the tougher schedule takes its toll.

and after a somewhat uneventful third quarter... BSU finally scores a TD, making it appear as if they're ready to begin running away with it...

and no sooner does that occur, then Nevada runs for a 60+ yard touchdown on the first play of their drive.

Beautiful.

Well, it looks like BS University won't win by 21 points plus like I guessed, but they will win fairly easily
