Was at the game. Zylstra played well. In the beginning he kept us in the game and to start the half he scored when no else could. Winder had a great game too. Carlino was clutch and Sharp was key.



Refs were horrible, as usual. SCU played very physically.

That is a great win! S C had a good record and we beat them on their court. They have some very good players. Foster broke the WCC 3 pt. mark and Tesolini (sp) had a double double. I congratulate them, but I congratulate the Cougs more. I bet the S C coach would trade either one of Foster or the big T for Tyler Haws. He is money in the bank. Zylstra and Winder may be a good combo, one for offense and one for defense. Sometimes I wonder though, if Zylstra isn't the Riley Nelson of BB as a lot of you don't seem to think much of him.

This was a great game for the Cougars. SC is a good team that may not look like it at the end of the year because they will be close to beating a number of teams but fall short.



I think Rose is doing a great job of using his player strengths and limiting the weaknesses. Next week against SM will tell us a lot if we have really turned a corner.

Anyone know if BYUtv will rebroadcast or put it on their DVR?

Most likely not as we don't own the rights to road games.

Busted. I have to admit - BYU exceeded my expectations. HOPE must be a powerful thing.



The nice thing about having realistic expectations is that you suffer fewer disappointments and enjoy occasional surprises like this one.

I think a predicted loss by 10 to Santa Clara is not realistic, but rather simply not giving our team credit. I expected us to win, thought it would be close, so I guess in a way they exceeded my expectations as well.
