2013 - Torry McTyre WR/DB

This is Torry, the son of Tim McTyre, who was recently dropped by Cal due to academics even though they aren't that bad. Per Gurney BYU has reached out to Torry and both sides are hoping something can get done. Tim is returning to BYU next semester to finish his degree

Here are his highlights - dude is fast. Love to get a DB/WR with his speed and pedigree

I believe that he looks better as a WR but that position seems loaded. Hopefully, Howell can improve his cover skills as he already has the speed to make up for some mistakes.

Dad wants him to attend BYU. Coach Howell is re-engaged in recruiting him at the last minute.

Signed with UNLV today per Gurney

Did BYU ever make an offer? Perhaps they told him he needed to go JC and prove he could make grades?
