It's time to hand out grades for the players of the 2012-2013 basketball team.

Please select the overall grade you think the player deserves. The grades will all be averaged to determine the final CougarCorner grades for the players.

This poll is for Josh Sharp.

For the season, he had 592 minutes, 55 of 97 Field Goals, 28 of 39 free throws, 2 of 6 from three, 140 points. 60 offensive rebounds, 64 defensive rebounds, 21 assist, 21 turnovers, 13 steals and 7 blocks.

Little offensive game. Did have some nice dunks. Rebounded well early in the year, completely disappeared by year's end.

The most surprising thing to me about him this year was how completely he disappeared after mid-season.

Loved his hustle and hops. He disparately needs another 20 lbs of muscle

He didn't play much but was a legit difference maker when out there. B from me.

Gave him one of the highest grades. Have to grade on curve. BYI got more out of him pound for pound than any other player. Just is totally out of his class as a 4 in the WCC and major DI ball. Love the kid. Would love to see him develop as well offensively as he performed occassionally in D and in the boards-- and then play at three and dominate. (haws has to go to the two).

In reference to the last of the season I would ask how much was due to a drop off in his performance and how much to the coaches looking to other options?

I too would like to see at least 20 lbs. on his frame for next year. Drink some malts and hit the weight room Sharp. I'll donate the malts I'm gritting my teeth and resisting. Hey, I've got 20 lbs. to donate as well!

i think this was a major error in Rose's calculations. Sharp should have had more minutes all year.

If Sharp had 20 to 30 more pounds on him and gotten to play more, be it at the 3 or 4, his grade would have been higher

Grading him on his body of work, not how many pounds he does or doesn't have, he gets a B. He hustled more than anyone on the court and was one of the only people on offense that moved around and cut to the basket.

No offensive game to speak of other than that, and not very good defense either. Just a work ethic type of guy and turned some games around for us with his activity.
