BYU - 397 yds 1st half. Yep, GFGH really sucks. Y 27, UT 14. BYU just ripped off the most rushing yards (349), that Texas has allowed in the last 10 years in a half! Ha ha ha ha!!

It would be a lot better if Taysom could hit his receivers. If the passing game was accurate, this game is a blowout.

which is scary. hill is less accurate than a broke back r. nelson. maybe that changes in the 2nd half. doesn't help that Hoffman only seems to be about 50% .

I look at it that we may have instilled some fear into them. This offense had them 100% gassed at half time, it isn't going to get easier in the 2nd half.

The passing may be open in the second half, but it won't do us any good unless Taysom can place the ball accurately. I hope he can, because I sense that he's going to have to for BYU to win.

Great first half for BYU. 2 things that worry me.



1. Texas receivers are a lot quicker than our secondary and if Texas capitalizes on that we could be in trouble very quickly.



2. If they do start defending more for the run, that leaves us with the ability to throw more with a QB that isn't accurate at throwing yet.



Hopefully never will be an issue going into the second half as the first half looked really good from BYU!

I just hope Anae doesn't go to game management mode for the entire second half. Get another 27 points anae, then you have my permission to let off the gas. ;) BYU should be really confident.



Poor PoVey, They are going to go to his side the entire night. Hopefully Bronco can put together a scheme that eliminates big plays and protect the guy.
