byucougar1Sharp needs to do something with his game as he certainly looks uncomfortable in the music videos - no dance rhythm and can't lip sync.

After watching last nights game vs Texas we can only hope he returns. We really need Bronson's ability to box out and rebound. He could box both his and Austin's man because Austin apparently doesn't know how to and I can guarantee that Bronson won't let the ball get ripped out of his hands on multiple occasions.

Yes. And hope they miss FT. Hope BK does not turn it over. More importantly, hope that since he does not present much of a scoring threat, that having him in their does not become an invitation to double someone else.
Sure. I am Ok with him giving Austin a blow. Can't be weaker than Worthington. OTOH, going small to blow the bigs has been effective.
Speaking of reserves - does anyone know why Halford has fallen off the face of the earth? Injury? Dog housr? The dude can shoot free throws and is reasonably good at shooting 3s and driving the lane.

I'm not high on BK coming back. He looks lost out there. Would rather Worthington get the minutes.
It's not like last season, where after Austin and Davies there was literally no one else.
Halford is great, instant offense but Winder and Bartley have better strength and length. Against a team like ISU and Texas, we needed all the speed and muscle we could get out there on the court.

I agree. I think the basketball team and LeBronson would be better served by focusing on one sport. Basketball needs to get the players they have ready to play in this system, not bring in a part time guy, and Kaufusi needs to focus on just one sport, he hasn't seemed effective when his time has been split.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. Yesterday he got into quick foul trouble (picked up two really fast in the first) and that, probably combined with how well Bartley played, seemed to take away his chance at more playing time.

I turned on the game when BYU already had 20 ish. Missed Halford. Did not know he played. I just think late in a game nursing a lead where you know they will foul someone - Haws, Halford, Carlino, Collinsworth - in thar order - probably best free throw shooters.

Well, if our big guys are fouling anyway (which they often are), we might as well have one more big body to put on the court so they're not at risk of fouling out.

I really like Halford and I think he's being underutilized.
As far as Bronson... when a game like ISU comes down to Austin getting outmuscled by ISUs 3rd or 4th best player.. then I want him there... I need him there.
A game like ISU can be the difference between us making the tournament and certainly would factor into our seeding. If Bronson only plays 5 minutes a game to end the 1st half and it disrupts the other team and keeps Mika out of foul trouble, then he's priceless to the hoops program. Worthington is not an enforcer, and I agree he needs minutes when they're warranted, but considering we're running 10 scholarship players out there, we need the depth in the worst way.
