I like this team a lot, but Carlino and Collinsworth are going to drive me to drink with their out of control, overconfident play.

You can add Bartley and Halford to that list too. This team doesn't like to pass. Get used to it.

We sure get a lot of assists for a team that does not like to pass?

This. 2nd half improved slightly. Someone finally drove , drew the D and then dished an underneath pass to Mika for an easy layup. They will get better at that. Bartley forced a few too many. But his and Halfords aggressive drives to the bucket prevented a bunch of chucks by Haws and Carlino that caused the loss to WSU. Those two changed the second half.

Again, credit Rose for not staying with status quo in his leaders of MC and TH.

KC is getting better. And I will stick with my prediction that he will have a similar effect as Magic did for the Lakers, at this level, at BYU. His assists, rebounds, steals and play making is more PG-like than MC is. But both can and can handle it. KC and Mc have to clean up their games in their respective ways, but I actually think they can and Rose is insisting on it. And the ally slam dunk pass from MC was awesome.

But yes, the careless turnovers (only 7 last night) and Carlinos chucked 3's could drive some of us to drink.

I don't think this was so much a change of plans as much as a return to rose's plan of attack, attack, attack. This is how we started the season at Stanford; relentless attacking on offense.

BYU's improved defense and rebounding in the 2nd half was especially important. Utah St shot 59.4% and 45.5% from three in the 1st half. Those numbers were 35.3% and 27.3%.

Yes there did seem to be improved defense in H2. But Ags also were pretty hot in H1.

Halford and Bartley improved the D in my opinion. But Ags also went away from their post driven O--which was very odd.

We started to double the post effectively. And by playing 4 guards we had the speed to recover. The key was our team rebounding.
