Zags went down. They made a valiant effort to get back in it after being about 17 points down. Could not do it. They were missing a key player and had a couple fighting the flu. As they pressed trying to get back in it I noticed

They have incredible quickness, are tenacious, do not quit, and have many weapons even in an off night. I only saw the last 15 minutes or so and missed most of the part where they must have sucked.

Watch out for USF. They took one on the road tonight. They are tied with Zags at 4-1.

A few quick thoughts from the game:

Haws, KC and Halford were our best players tonight bar none.

It felt like Haws missed a lot of shots he normally makes. But he had great game regardless. He stayed under control and aggressive the whole game.

KC's offensive game is really rough. But is a gamer and his hands much be really strong. He was ripping rebounds away left and right. He was also really important guarding their little PG Major.

Austin made a number of really important play scoring on put backs and rebounding.

Carlino has swung too far not looking shots. A couple of times he had the ball in semi-transition and lane to the hoop. If he can get a clean look at the rim he needs to attack and take it.

Sharp made a few important small plays but playing him and Austin together puts huge offensive burdens on Haws, Halford and KC.

Worthington just isn't ready to play.

Winder played poorly. Bartley played poorly in limited minutes.

Oh I forgot Halford. Everytime he has a his feet set I think it is going in. So does the other team. When Mika is back things are going to open up for him and KC because of Haws and Halford.
