Joe Lunardi stated BYU was one of the last four in if they beat St. Mary's. They beat St. Mary's (on the road and against a good team). They will move up to a more solid position if they beat the Zags at home (very likely after the way they gutted it out tonight) and win remainder of their games.

I still think they need to win the WCC tourney to get in. They MAY get an at large bid if they win out the regular season and make it to the finals of the WCC tourney but I would hate to be BYU on selection sunday if they don't win the WCC tourney even if they win out the reg season and make it to the finals of the tourney.

If they win out I will feel pretty good about our chances..As long as we don't have any early round exist like last year..

Agreed.........just win out and there's no reason to have to worry on Selection Sunday. Even if we were to beat Gonzaga at home we have too many bad losses to even think about getting into the NCAA tourny with an at large bid.

True, but when was the last time BYU won a conference tourney? I expect them to beat Gonzaga at home and then lose to someone in the tourney. They'll be on the bubble and get in without another loss to a volleyball school.

10 loss BYU team doesn't get an at large bid.

I think ANY WCC team with 10 losses has little chance of getting in. BYU's SOS will be discussed though on selection Sunday. We'll see how it goes. I agree that winning conference tournament would be easiest way to get peace of mind. Otherwise, I think it's a coin toss basically if they win out the season and bow out early WCC tourney.
