St Mary's thread

For all the blaming of refs. The refs changed this game. At end point in the second half, it was 6-1 on fouls, favoring BYU.

See Dobby (Halford) does have his place on this team. All I can say is horray beer......I mean defense

I definately didn't see that coming. Now we need to beat Gonzaga at home.

Glad Rose finally figured out that KC needs to be out of the game the last 2 minutes. :D

Yeah, I was shocked as well. But, the guy did take a sucker elbow to the jaw last time these two met.

Yeah, I was shocked as well. But, the guy did take a sucker elbow to the jaw last time these two met.

He won't see that crowd again for 2 years, I wonder if they will forget.

The team played their guts out tonight. We kept the pressure up and finally St Mary's cracked and started to turn the ball over.

My testimony just grew by leaps and bounds lol j/k...What a great night..my wife just found out she killed it on her praxis test to be a teacher...Fun game can't wait for Thursday...I told you guys I had a good feeling about this game

It's being speculated that the gesture was made at Carlino and not the crowd

Btw Worthington has been key in keeping us in several of the last games.

Was traveling and just got to watch the game. Wow! Way to come back and cling to a lead, Cougs.



Few thoughts on the game:



1) Winder should get all of Halford's minutes. Hope he proved that last night.



2) We got lucky KC didn't get hurt. Him fouling out probably helped us more than it hurt us.



3) Rose finally seemed to have woken up when it comes to changing his rotation. Not only did he sub rebounders and shooters out (when was the last time we saw that?) but in the second half he started Winder instead of Halford.



4) Worthington was big in this game & Austin made up for dumb turnovers.

On number 2 are you assuming that somehow the ball would've ended up in his hands every single late possession and then get fouled? :) Seems typical with this team so you might be right.
