I was seriously and emotionally into this injustice meted out to Dennis. Then...I watched the Unicorn Candy Mountain video and realized how trivial involvement in college football is. There are more important things out there, brethren, than mere football awards. The mesmerizing, riveting, spell-binding drama surrounding the question, "Will Charlie actually go into the cave on Candy Mountain?" far surpassed the drama of the Mackey award.

This is going to backfire on the BCS- year after year after year they find themselves making undeserving decisions, from awarkds to bowl games to their all encompassing system...

How do you not give it to the guy who should have had it the year before and who set the ncaa record fro tight end receptions?
