A nice win tonight renders the Ute game tomorrow meaningless to us... Go Bears!

Does it really, in the long run render the game tomorrow meaningless? If the :utard: win, then it'll be a feather in our cap when it comes to MWC vs PAC-10 and the higher the :utard: are in the polls, the higher we are. That might not be much, but any little bit of help can push us up one slot in the polls or the lack of it could drop us a slot.

Two points. We are looking at a top 10 finish after our win tonight. If the conference was to go 5-0 that would help us attain that achievement.



Second point, how does this topic have more posts than our bowl game topic?



Anyways I am very happy for the win since I live in Beaver country.

I'm not sure which announcer I heard today, but he was saying that the Pac-10 was better than the SEC this year. If that IS the belief of most sports analysts, then a win by the ewets will mean we dominated the Pac-10 in the bowls, and went 2-2 Both losses were early losses on the road.



Where does that rank the MWC among the conferences? IF we we indeed rank above the SEC, it sure puts another ugly cloud on the BS!

Ya ESPN has been saying that for the last 4-5 weeks, they sat Pac10 top to bottom > then SEC Top to Bottom.





I guess for me, it comes down to I hate the BcS and the Pac1 more then :utard:
