If the Democrats win - Hillary - who is a monstrous liar - and disrespects the Constitution - will sit in the White House. What will happen is, the continued ignoring and disassembly of the Constitution. You will see the firm establishment of a socialist govt. in the USA. The thread that is holding the Constitution is growing thinner, and thinner. Neither Hillary nor Obama have any respect for the Constitution or the rule of law. It's all about their power, their socialist agenda, more invasive govt, bigger govt, loss of personal freedoms, higher taxes, and ultimately - abandoning Israel.

Trump is a salesman first and foremost--right now he is selling himself to the angry right. THIS IS AS CONSERVATIVE AS HE'S EVER GOING TO BE, and he's not that conservative (see: comments about how Planned Parenthood does good work, the individual mandate needs to stay, etc.). If and when he secures the GOP nomination, his focus will change to making a sale with the rest of America, and he will skew to the left. He's selling snake oil, and only those blinded by anger are buying it.

You are making sense to me Dawg. I hear people saying that Trump will be worse than Hillary. No one is that bad and the closest one to her is Sanders who has about the same list as she does.

As for the others, what I heard of the debate was a disgrace. They should have found a big mud hole, gotten in it and splattered each other.

Mitt wasn't much better. I'd like to know why he let Obama run all over him and us after the first debate and why he made this speech. I think there are many things the big time politicians are not telling us. They appear to feel they are smart and we're stupid and the country is really theirs.

The thread holding the Constitution does seem to be thinning.

I don't think it's worth killing the constitution to shake up the Republican party.

we heard the same thing with Obama. The country is not dead. But he's certainly done his share of damage. If trump wins the country will not die and he is a beter choice vs Hillary.

Here's a scary poll

I'm to the point where I believe very little will change either "party" and their platforms are basically the same right now with minor differences. Heck, the GOP frankly gave up on getting rid of obamacare which they said was going to be first priority. They cant get squat done. Who cares who is president, the script is written and it doesn't matter who fills the lead role.

I would vote for Hillary a thousand times before casting a single ballot for Donald Trump.

Yes, I truly believe he is that much worse for the country, for the constitution, and for all of us than any other candidate.

This is ridiculous. If the congress does its job and checks the president, the only thing the president has control of is foreign policy. And the Donald is the only person other than Rand Paul with even a shred of sanity with respect to foreign policy.

BTW if this is abandoning Israel count me in:

The Donald wrote:
“As president … there’s nothing that I would rather do to bring peace to Israel and its neighbors generally. And I think it serves no purpose to say that you have a good guy and a bad guy.

“Now, I may not be successful in doing it. It’s probably the toughest negotiation anywhere in the world of any kind. OK? But it doesn’t help if I start saying, “I am very pro-Israel, very pro, more than anybody on this stage.” But it doesn’t do any good to start demeaning the neighbors, because I would love to do something with regard to negotiating peace, finally, for Israel and for their neighbors.

“And I can’t do that as well – as a negotiator, I cannot do that as well if I’m taking … sides.”

Now I doubt Trump will follow through. There is just too much money from the Israel lobby for a reasonable solution there. I also think he will be bought by the military industrial complex and won't bring troops homes from the leeches in Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Europe but at least he is saying the right thing there (sort of like Bush II did). In the end I feel like he'll be co-opted by the warmongering, high tax turds in the Republican party the same as Ronald Reagan was.

But to say Donald Trump is worse than the lying, murderous scum who'll win the Democratic nomination is absurd.

We live in a day of the Imperial Presidency. A stupid or an unhinged President could greatly damage our nation. He can start wars BOTH of the hot kind but also of the trade kind. The former is frightful. The latter is disconcerting and dangerous albeit in a different way. I detest Hillary. But she is not unhinged like Trump is. The Republic will survive a Hillary. I am less certain with Trump at the helm.

And while I am at it in 2012 evangelicals said they could not support Romney because he didn't reflect their Christian values, and so in 2016,they rally around Trump because he does? What sort of world are we living in?

I agree with you JV, Dawg, Urroner and some others. I have serious doubts that this country can survive hillary or bernie. I don't know about Trump but I do not see him or anyone else as destructive as those two. Obama is one of the most destructive presidents we've had and they will continue down that path.

Some of you have talked about the Republicans in congress. They could have done much more to stop or even moderate Obama and have failed to do so. I've heard that obama has only used the veto 4 times! I sincerely hope I'm wrong but if one of the two socialists get in I don't see them all of a sudden getting backbones and working against them for freedom. It looks like the establishment republicans are nervous about Trump and that may be why the frustrated voters are going for him. The establishment types don't seem to like Cruz much either.

Obama has tried to tear our country in half, reviving and fueling race issues, spitting on the Constitution, and allowing non-citizens whose ideologies are bent on destroying western civilization infiltrate our borders. Don't kid yourselves, our country can't survive another eight years of this bull$#!+, no Hillary, never. As far as Bernie goes, more people in the history of the world have lost their lives due to socialism than anything else, no Bernie, never.

I respect you Hawk - but this willingness to vote for Hillary is so misguided. She has a long and established history of lying, lying, and lying. Hillary has no respect for the Constitution or the rule of law - or the security of this nation. Indulge me please.

Stop and think - as Sec. of State, Hillary dealt with critical Top Secret information on a daily basis. She willingly plotted and worked to circumvent established security measures to protect those secrets - some in which lives were lost to acquire. Still, Hillary used a home brew server and placed ALL those secrets in jeopardy. But, not only the critical information - human assets as well. Both U.S. citizen assets, but foreign assets that are on U.S. payroll to funnel critical information to us.

How many of those foreign human assets lost their lives because of Hillary's selfish choices? We will never know. And why did Hillary choose place humans and national secrets at risk on her home brew server? Because Hillary is self serving and selfish above ALL. He ability to communicate secretly - privately - without oversight - in violation of federal law - was more important than being lawful, protecting human assets, and protecting vital national secrets.

Regardless of how arrogant and pompous Trump is, he is a better choice than the vile, dishonest, self serving, and criminal Hillary who has American blood on her hands.

Hawk - here's an eye opening article about how unethical Hillary is. She was a young 27 year old lawyer, working on the House Judiciary Committee that was investigating and preparing an article of impeachment for Richard Nixon. She worked for general counsel Jerry Zeifman - who fired Hillary for lying and unethical behavior. Hillary could have been disbarred for her fraudulent behavior. Hillary is evil and rotten to the core.

COUNSEL CONFIRMS HILLARY'S 'FRAUDULENT' WATERGATE BRIEF

Clinton was fired for allegedly colluding with Kennedys to protect JFK legacy

Franklin Polk backed up major claims by Jerry Zeifman, the general counsel and chief of staff

of the House Judiciary Committee who supervised Clinton’s work on the Watergate investigation in 1974, reported columnist Dan Calabrese in a column republished by WND.

Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, called Clinton a “liar” and “an unethical, dishonest lawyer.”

He contends Clinton was collaborating with allies of the Kennedys to block revelation of Kennedy-administration activities that made Watergate “look like a day at the beach.”

Her brief, Zeifman said, was so fraudulent and ridiculous, she would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

Trust me, I know exactly how vile of a human being Hillary Clinton is. She is directly responsible for the Benghazi deaths and attempted cover up. She should be in prison, not running for an election.

And even with that, Donald Trump is the very embodiment and the answer to how millions of good citizens can allow a person like Mussolini or Stalin to rise to power and destroy an entire nation.

The fact that 1/3rd of GOP voters embrace that makes me sad to my very core.

As it is, I will not vote for either, if they both win the nomination. I will support a 3rd party candidate or write someone in. I've believed in the past that it's important to vote for the lesser of 2 evils but with these choices I have to follow my conscious and vote for the good rather than any of the evils.

I'm not concerned about Trump becoming the next Hitler/Stalin/Mussolini. I think it's fear-mongering to make those comparisons. Trump is so disliked by both the Dems and the establishment GOP that he would be impeached before it got to that point.

It's funny that anyone is buying into this meme. Your hinged Hillary has led the US into dropping Trillions of dollars on stupid wars in the Middle East and Africa (Lybia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia). Time after time she's sacrificed US security for some pie in the sky idea that supporting moderate islamic rebels or neo nazi Ukranians somehow makes us safer.

The only person less sane than Hillary on foreign policy is Marco Rubio, who talks about shooting down the planes of a nuclear power over the civil war of an incredibly unimportant country.

If you listen to foreign policy, Trump is the most sane of all the candidates left in the race.

I get it. I do. I know I am coming across like I'm a Trump supporter - I'm not. I am voting for Ted Cruz all the way - and hope he gets the nomination. I also prefer John Kasich over Trump, by a long shot.

That said, if it does come dow to Hillary and Trump - I will vote for Trump. I agree with Sno, that the GOP controlling the House and the Senate will be a strong "cross walk guard" fir Trump. I think he will tow the Conservative campaign line that he is spewing because people will be watching closely. The anger that is fueling his campaign will turn against him in a flash if he abandons the people that are supporting his campaign. I think the consequences could lead to impeachment if he abandons the Constitution. There MSM would not protect Trump as they have protected Obama.

Anyway ....... I keep hoping for the best. Hillary the chronic liar must be defeated.

I'm still not convinced Trump is running away with this--Tuesday he won 3 of 4 states, but Cruz collected more delegates, so Trump actually got farther away from sealing the deal, as opposed to distancing himself from Cruz.

This coming Tuesday, 3/15, with all delegate heavy primaries - Trump could open a decisive lead. This coming Tuesday is scary with the "winner take all" format.

"Winner Take All" primaries this Tues: Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, N. Carolina, and N. Mariana Islands. Cross your fingers. Trump is looking strong in the polls.

What assessment do you disagree with: that Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio have lost all reason when it comes to foreign policy or that Trump is the most sane on foreign policy.

Now I wouldn't go so far as to say Trump's foreign policy is sane, he endorses torture and murdering the children of criminals (though that has been the official US policy for many years) and his economic foreign policy hasn't been outlined in depth, but I'll take what he's saying over the insanity of the past 25 years Hillary and Marco keep pushing.
