Regardless, it was still the punter who had two of Boise's key plays last night.

Including the missed field goal that should have turned a 7-point win into a 10-point win.

Jerry Hughes disappeared in this game, he was a zero factor. Where'd he go? nada, nothing.

TCU receivers were awful, how many dropped balls? a dozen or more? I lost track.

With all their speed, TCU couldn't run, couldn't get receivers open, and got only one punt/kick return that went anywhere.

Except for requiring two blockers on nearly every play, forcing a fumble, and putting pressure on the QB.

I guess I watched the end of a different game. I clearly saw a db make a play on a "floater" of a throw that resulted in the ball going through the hands of the wr without touching those hands and then bouncing off the wr's pads. He never touched the ball with his hands! How do you catch a ball if you don't get your hands on it? Like I said in the other thread, the ball had too much air and it allowed the db to recover and make the play. If the ball had hit the wr's hands and he tipped it with his hands into the air I would concede that it was his fault, but it hit his pads, and I don't care how good you are or what university or nfl team you played for, I want to see you tip a ball up in the air with your pads. Then maybe you can convince me that the wr should have caught it with his facemask otherwise, it was Dalton's fault because the ball hung up in the air too long. If the db doesn't get there then the wr makes the catch and TCU keeps driving. But it just fluttered up there and became a jumpball that went through both sets of hands and bounced off a players pads.

In the first half...how many passes were dropped? The WRs had bricks for hands. The game was over at halftime, because TCU could not sustain a drive, couldn't run, couldn't pass, couldn't get first downs...couldn't score.
