This team is a lot better than our recent teams that lost in the first round. The free throw shooting percentage is a huge improvement and has helped us win games as opposed to losing games the last couple years. This is a very underrated part of our team. You add the improvement by Jimmer, Hartsock, Loyd, Miles (in free throw shooting and overall play), Emery, and JT as of late coupled with the emergence of Haws and Davies and you have a much better team.

Hmmm...I would love a 4 or 3 seed and hope we get such; however, history tells us that BYU's seed will be whatever we deserve +2. We crack the top ten, win the Las Vegas Invitational and pick up only a couple more losses, then yes we'll be deserving of no less than a 4 seed and possibly a 3 seed. Realistically, though, we'll get a 5 or 6 seed.

Unfortunately, BYU has a reputation as of late of losing NCAA tourney games, which doesn't help us any come selection time.

This talk happens every year...we talk ourselves up to a 3 or 4 seed then we lose a game or two and talk 5/6 seed...then we we end up losing a few more close games...we lose the conference tournament and we will end up as an 8/9 seed pairing. Sorry to be a Debbie downer. I would LOVE to be wrong...please let me be wrong...History just really tastes bad to me. :~( :~(

I tend to agree with you. It's a long season and it's not easy to win on the road anywhere.

Except that it is easy to win on the road @ AFA, CSU, Wyo, TCU, and Utah. :)

Ask SDSU about winning in Laramie...

I'd rather ask 4-0 Dave Rose
