Tongue-in-cheek or not, do we benefit from perpetuating comments like this? Just curious.

If it's tongue-in-cheek does it really perpetuate the comment? Or does it make the perpetuated comment appear more ridiculous, thus ending its perpetuation? :skeptic:

10 of his 11 receptions have resulted in first downs. Throughout the season Manning has shown confidence in going to Collie when they needed to keep drives alive, many times on third downs. That is simply amazing for a rookie to gain that kind of confidence from the all-time greatest QB ever to play the game. Alot of times Collie caught the ball short of the markers too but just exhibited toughness in getting that extra few yards to convert.
