I wish everyone could rebound like Charles Abouo. It makes such a difference just having one of him.

Absolutely. You beat me to it. Charles has been a difference maker.

I wish the refs would call at least ONE over the back on New Mexico. But, such wishing is only a dream. Every single time...

Jackson has not had a good game on either side of the ball

We suddenly got amnesia. We forgot what defense is.

Jimmer is worn out

I love how Jimmer goes in the paint and the dude just drapes his body over Jimmer... and then Jimmer misses and another dude gets the rebound and Jimmer barely touches him and it's a foul. The ref knew right then he blew it - you could tell by his demeanor after he called the foul.

Yeah, that was kinda lame. Should have taken a better shot though. Oh well.

Too bad NM is just blowing by our D.

Well, at least we learned that BYU is the best team in the conference. New Mexico can expect a beatdown in Provo. New Mexico needed every ounce of homecourt cooking (both the pansy MWC refs and the crowd).

too bad. Hopefully that's a game that the Cougars can learn from and rock NM's world next time around. I expect 10 points or less from Gary in Provo.

Well, better to lose now and win out in conference (and maybe back into the Top 10), which I think is doable.

We need to toughen up on the defensive glass BIG time, though. I was hoping we would have figured it out after Saturday.

This actually does give me more confidence that we will break the Thomas & Mack curse this year.

We just went through too many dry spells tonight. The opportunity was there, we just were a bit too far off of our season averages. :sulk:

WHAT THE HECK?!?!

BYU PLAYED LIKE THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO SHOOT THE BALL!!!

They took the worst shots, couldnt rebound, and missed every opportunity they had to get back into the game.

BYU lost this game, new mexico did not win it

The telling stat--1 point and a whole lot of fouls from the center position.

I sure hope Jackson breaks out of this slump he's in shooting wise...it's been more than the last 2 games...

Yes, this is all Chris Miles fault.

Ugh, Greg Wrubell just mentioned the ONE point from our true centers. And ten fouls in only 22 minutes (that's just over seven minutes of playing time per center!). I wasn't able to watch the game; did they really play defense that badly or did the refs just take them out of it?
