From the start, I believed that Yoeli Childs should have gone this route and hired an attorney. If this guy can get an injunction against the NCAA to keep him from playing, Yoeli could because it's not an issue of receiving improper payments like this for Wiseman's family to move.

It just sucks and BYU just turns the other cheek.

Now you tell me, this family couldn't afford to move and needed help, but they sure didn't have much problem obtaining a lawyer to seek resolution for their athlete son.

Agree. Feel like we kind of just rolled over. And until BYU and it's players start fighting back, BYU will continue to be walked on by the NCAA.

So when/If the NCAA rules against him they will be forfeiting the wins he played in? Any other consequences?

If we did the same with Yoeli, say play him only if we can beat UCLA without him then we play him against Kansas or MSU, what is the downside? We are very unlikely to win a game agains KU or MSU and even less likely without him, so if we get the game forefieted it wouldn't really matter. If we actually beat KU or MSU and then had to forfeit it would be big news and at least the Media and pundits would still give us credit for the wins even if they are taken away from us.

Disclaimer : I am not a lawyer nor lawyer's representative, however, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express las night.
