I still don't get all the JT hate. He shot as well from the arc as Emery and better than Jimmer. Give the guy a break, he brings a lot of good to the team.

Kansas State is just about the best offensive rebounding team in the tournament. That's our kryptonite. But unlike SDSU or Florida, they have great guard play, can drive to the hoop, hit a lay-up, and draw a foul for the and-1, and they can bomb from 3 point range. Like New Mexico, it's a bad match-up in both man-to-man and zone.

All the more reason to FLIP OUT if we win!

The more I look into KSU the more it is apparent to me that a BYU victory tomorrow would be one of the biggest wins in BYU history.

Best thing about March Madness? Games too often do NOT follow analysis. On paper KSU looks awfully good. But you know what? We get to see our team for the first time in a LONG time play a tournament game WITHOUT the 800 pound gorilla on our back....I think that is worth a lot....If I were KSU I'd be worried

P.S. Back in '81, we were led by a great guard (Ainge) and barely beat a Providence team in the first game of the tournament....The next game, we were running and gunning and, led by Ainge, we KILLED UCLA....Maybe Jimmer leads us the same way this time? Lightning CAN strike twice

Were you not watching the first overtime when he should have cost us the game??

That word "should" is a funny one. There were a lot of plays that SHOULD have not happened during that game. You live in the should, I'll deal with what actually happened.

You mean how Tavernari didn't even see the floor in the second overtime because Coach Rose thought he was too much of a liability??

So where did you get this information? Did Coach Rose say it in an interview or did he tell you in private. Players see the court due to matchups, especially in overtime. I like JT, I like his shooting, I like his defense. He has been a huge reason BYU has been a very good team for the last 4 years. Did you notice that Jimmer "should" have cost us the victory in the 1st overtime due to his turnover with about 10 seconds left? Did Coach Rose pull him in the second overtime because he "thought he was too much of a liability"?

Let's not forget that JT is the winningest cougar to play basketball at BYU. That's not a shabby accolade. JT is a huge part of this teams success. He's been awesome off the bench. Everyone makes a dumb play here or there.

Cougs win today.
