I was thinking/wondering the same thing. I didn't hear anything about him being back yesterday.

There was no practice yesterday. So he'll likely be back today or tomorrow.

Heeeeeee's baaaaaaack!!!!

* Linebacker Kyle Van Noy returned to practice after missing the last two due to a violation of team rules.

“He accomplished [his punishment] faster than I ever thought he would be able to accomplish it,” Mendenhall said. “Did all the things I asked him to do in about a two-day period. And so he was back. Fully reinstated is the right word to say, by today.”

Sounds like a message was being sent and KVN showed that he received it loud and clear. Props to KVN for stepping up and taking care of what he needed to. Now, if he can just avoid having to take care of things beforehand!

He is slated as a starter on the latest depth chart. So is Bryson. And there is a chance Stout might earn a spot as well. We could have 3 freshman starting on D for us next year. Lucky for us they are all super talented.

Kyle is almost a redshirt freshman missing the year while a year older and getting spring practice in.

I thought Zac Stout was going on a mission before he played ball at BYU???

Speaking of missions... Which of the 2010 recruits are going on a mission before OR after their first year of playing ball???

He will enroll in the Fall. From what I have read, the coaches want to give him a good look and he may play this season for us because of our lack of depth/experience at the position.

...And there are rumors that he may not go on a mission at all. But obviously each of these kids still has plenty of time decide if they are going to serve or not.

Here's what Bronco had to say about Van Noy after the final spring practice, "Kyle Van Noy is learning a lot about our system and about how hard he is expected to play. He certainly has the potential, his biggest work in progress is adapting to the culture and the demand.”

Intresting to me...

I don't really know why that's all that interesting. The same could be said about any number of freshmen on every campus in the country. For some it's easier than others but there's always some adaptation that is required.

So where is jamison Frazier going to play? He was in Pendleton's spot this spring but Pendleton should be the starter. He could be playing on the other side where Kyle plays. That spot should be a fight this Fall.
