Sell. We'll be bigger and faster on the edges, and with Jacobsen in the slot, we'll see a more traditional TE. Pitta last year basically played slot receiver on 1/3 of his routes.

Sell: Holding to tradition McMahon will be wearing a headband with some unauthorized corporate logo.

Buy or Sell: Boise State won't be MWC champs as long as Jake Heaps is at BYU.

Sell. BYU wins this one going away. We'll be preparing for QBs like Ponder and Locker all through fall camp, and with 65,000 fans behind our defense we will shut them down from kickoff to the final whistle.

Buy or Sell? TV announcers have to explain to fans at home that the fans aren't booing, they're yelling "Juice!" during every home game.

BUY but only because they will also be explaining why the fans are yelling "Q" also. They did that a bunch with Fui so it's certain to happen.

BUY or SELL? No 'skill position' 1st or 2nd stringers will suffer hamstring injuries during fall camp.

Btw, I watched the BYU v. OU game replay on ESPN2 last night and was real happy to recall how well Kariya played. He caught well out of the backfield and made a lot of players miss with quick, shifty moves.

Buy, for two reasons:

1. This is the year for lisfranc injuries

2. Boozer will be guest coaching, advising the players how to avoid hamstring injuries

BUY or SELL? Heaps breaks the freshman yardage record.

Sell - the O will be too balanced for that.

Buy/Sell - There will be groundskeepers and maintenance staff out on the field replacing divots during every time out again this year.

SELL. This year, they'll get the Cougarettes to do it. Adds to the entertainment value.

BUY or SELL: The offensive line will protect the QB better this year in the big games. (UW, FSU, TCU, Utah).

Buy. No one's coming around the left side (reynolds will make sure of that), and the whole line will be a year older and BETTER.

Buy/Sell - the guy who created THIS VIDEO will be hired to replace those embarrassing Super Cosmo movies:

Sell. Unfortunately, we're pretty good at hanging on to bad traditions when it comes to the non-football part of BYU football. Although I would be very pleased to be wrong.

Buy or sell: Every last one of us will either curse the name of Todd Christensen or watch the Mtn with the TV muted. (I'm currently watching BYU vs. Utah 2007, and I'm about to slay him on account of his esoteric verbosity.)

SELL. Come on, that is a BYU education at work, baby. Not like the dude is using ebonics, right? He might be overly literate, but at least he IS literate, unlike many former players out there on TV.

BUY OR SELL: If Riley Nelson starts at QB, Matt Reynolds will play right tackle, but if Jake Heaps plays, he starts at left tackle. Blind side, either way.

Buy! That's a no brainer.

Buy or Sell: This is the year Brandon Bradley will live up to his potential?

p.s. There have been so many good questions that could have created really good discussion. I say we vote for a few of the best ones and create their own threads!

It's one thing to be literate. It's another entirely to use overly large words in a self-aggrandizing way. And it's another still to COMPLETELY FAIL at attempting to do so because the words you have chosen don't mean what you think they mean.

Also, enough with the "It is wisdom," Todd. You're not King Solomon, and the only proverbs people will take from you will fall under "How NEVER to do sports color commentary."

Todd Christensen is BYU's Bill Walton. In fact, he's worse than Bill Walton because his verbal assault on the English language only serves to bludgeon into your mind the fact that he is the worst color commentator in the history of time.

Ummm, sell? I've thought Bradley has already played pretty well. I was at TCU in '08, and when they put him in for Howard it seemed to stop the bleeding on that side of the field.

Buy or sell: We block more than one field goal/punt this year.
S

Buy, our special teams have done a pretty darn good job of getting in the way of field goals and even some punts and we have a lot of young athletes this year.

Buy or Sell: A group of fans will again call for Bronco's (or Anae's or Hill's) head if we lose even one game this year.

Buy: There will always be that unreasonable faction of the fanbase that will call for Bronco's head every year we don't get to a BCS bowl and for Anae's head if we don't score 50+ points every game.

Buy/Sell: Boise St. gets into the National Championship game is it goes undefeated this year. Also, would that count on the MWC's resume`?

Buy. If they start at 5, they don't have much to move. And Yes, it would count on the MWC resume.

Buy or Sell: A 2:1 TD:INT ratio for BYU's QBs in 2010.

Buy. 16 TDs, 8 Interceptions sounds easily doable. Especially if you count rushing TDs.

Holt or Sampson make the Tight End two-deep, despite the talent we've already seen displayed by Mahina/Muehllman/Wilson/Lower/Mathews/Edwards, Buy or Sell?
