BUY or SELL: The gray hairs in the Legacy seats at LES will actually make some noise this year and act like they are at a football game, and not at a church service.

Sell. After Washington, most of the home games are snoozers.

Byu/Sell: At least one home game will be played in a rain/snowstorm.

Buy. Why not? Most of the home games are in October and November.

Buy or sell? One or more of the 4-star QBs transfer from the program before they complete their eligibility (Heaps, Lark, or Munns).

BUY. I bet Lark is gonna transfer to Utah State, making Aggie fans feel good about the Nelson for lark trade.

BUY OR SELL: Utah fans will talk more about next season and the PAC-0 than about football this year, especially after they lose a few games. Explain it away as lack of focus, excitement over next year, etc than the fact they are not as good as they think they are.

Buy. I'll buy anything dissing the :utard:

Buy/Sell, BYU beats Washington, jumps into the top-25 early and Jake Locker goes on to an underwhelming season

Sell, BYU does beat Washington, which goes on to have a GREAT season and because the loss is early in the season, Locker still goes to NY as a H finalist HOWEVER, he loses to Ponder, because their one mutual opponent, BYU, will be beaten soundly by FSU a few weeks later.

Buy/Sell - Ponder will be quoted at the end of the FSU game saying something to the effect that: "This is not the (slow, white, muggly, add your own adjective here___) BYU defense I beat last year."

Sell. Before the game, Ponder says something like "BYU's defense has really shown to be very stout. We have a lot of work to do if we want to score more than a single touchdown against them." After the game, Ponder says something like "We've always been confident in our offense, and we were happy to put on a show for the doubters today."

Utah State stays within 21 points of BYU this year, Buy or Sell?

Buy: I hear they're really a recruiting power house these days. :bug: ;)

BYU or ESLL: July/August is the WORST sporting time of the year. Maybe we should go outside for a change...

SELL - It's $#&%ing hot outside. Why would I want to go out there? Oh, and the month immediately after the last CF bowl game is the worst of the year, and it slowly gets better until August. No other sports matter.

Buy/Sell - This thread will remain active clear until fall camp when we have something real to talk about.

Well... I think we've ran out of things to buy or sell. Someone HAS to be bankrupt!

Sell, I think TCU goes to a BCS bowl again and we finish 2nd...so the Vegas Bowl streak continues

Buy/Sell The bottom half of the MWC start pulling their weight this year

Sell - I'm assuming by "pulling their weight" you mean improve OOC results. Sorry, the teams may be better, but too many "body bag" games for improved results. I think the most improved of the lower-tier will be SDSU, who I think will make a bowl. UNM is going to completely suck again. CSU should be a little better, but their increased win total will have to come in conference.

Buy/Sell - BYU's basketball team ends the season ranked higher in the polls than the football team.

Buy can't beat Jimmer and the boys this year

Sell. I don't think he's competing.

BYU runs at least 6 trick plays this season, Buy or Sell?

BUY. I think BYU will try some this year, strategically, to keep certain teams from trying to tee off on a freshman QB. Gotta make them play contain and not just come after the QB.

BUY OR SELL: BYU has a better shot at winning @Florida State than they do @TCU this year.

Sell, I think Florida St. will be more improved then TCU. TCU lost some real studs on defense. Of course, they're defense will still be amazing, but maybe not quite as good as last year.

I think Florida St. will be better all the way around.

Buy/Sell: We'll see Nelsen run the option with Luigi a couple plays a game this year

BUY, Doman is the QB coach and that was one of his favoritest plays as QB; there's that AND the normal concern about exposing your QB to LB and corner shots is slightly mitigated by the fact that should Nelson get hurt, QB problem solved (Cade Cooper anyone?).

(What a terrible thing to think... BAD Claw! Bad Claw!)

Buy/ Sell -- The devastating fall camp injury bug leaves us alone this year.

Buy - after a few straight years of significant injuries in camp, this year we'll get a break.

Buy/Sell - BYU continues the trend of NOT losing to any MWC team outside of the "Big Three"

Buy! The only team I'm even remotely worried about outside the "Big Three" is Air Force, and we have their number. Teams that play assignment football shouldn't have any major problems with an option attack.

Buy or sell: Even if Boise and TCU both run the table this year, neither of them makes the title game.

Sell: Boise will be in if they are undefeated.

Buy or Sell: BYU beats Air Force by at least 2 TD's.

SELL. BYU has the AFA's number, but I think it will be a closer game this year. I think we win, but along the lines of 27-17 or so.

BUY OR SELL: Kyle van Noy will have the most sacks on the team this year.
