With everything that has happened this week who would have guessed we'd get wolfie back?

I can't stay away forever. Even when banned, I find a way to re-emerge! ;)

Not me, as I was sure he would be stuck with his ute brothern boasting about their invite.

If I'm Ute fan, I ain't bragging about joining the Pac-10... them Utes are gonna find it difficult to have a winning season every year from now on.

any true cb/cougarblue follower can come on here and joke about $6.00 hotdogs and being banned and then claim to be the real airwolf. I don't believe you. Is there a way you can prove your identity...?

Ask me what you want to know. I do live in a van down by the river. ;)

Here's my question to Cougar Corner fans, it seems that Riley's drives have ended in alot of TD's AND FG's whereas Heaps' drives end in TD's or just end in a 3 and out or 4 and out. Riley has led the team to a lot of field goals. Am I right about that? Why is this the case?

Back on topic, How many series did each get with the 1's?

I like what I see in Heaps -- who couldn't/wouldn't. True freshmen competing against a junior and they have similar numbers (better # if you count how many more times he's gone against the 1's vs. how many times Riley has).

With that said, I think we are going to have a two QB system for the first 4 games and then Heaps will have enough game experience at that point to go the rest of the season.

Nelson will be named the starter... the coaches know they would be foolish to start a true freshman against Washington, Air Force and then Florida State. They'll go with the experienced one. Practices ain't real game situation and Heaps is going to be facing defenses and talent he hasn't seen yet during his football career. If the coaches are smart, however, they'll wait until the last moment to name a starter so the Huskies don't know who to prepare for.

Some will tell you that it's because Riley goes against the 2s more, some will say because Riley is a more experienced playmaker and can get it done with his feet as well as his arm, others will tell you that Heaps is still young and lacks good decision making at times, others will say that it's because receivers drop all passes thrown by Heaps and catch everything thrown by Riley, still others will say that it's because we're conspiring to throw off Washington and make them prepare for Riley when we're actually going to start Heaps. I don't really know, I haven't been at practice and seen them play everyday (just one day), but I know that I trust the coaches, especially Bronco, to make the right decision and that the program is in good hands.

If this is the real Airwolf, it should become obvious very soon - he can't help it. Haivng siad that - Aloha AirWolfe - on occasion, when people are able to take you seriously and sort through all the non-sense, you have had very realistic comments at times which provide some balance.

I was going to say the same thing. In time we will know if it is the real Airwolf because the real Airwolf had SOME Brilliant posts and interesting ideas unlike all the other trolls. He also had some stamina, unlike the other thin-skinned trolls. We shall see.

Airwolf, seriously you are starting in on an epic discussion that began months ago. Read those threads and come back. Most of us have moved on from those preliminary opinions.

Your right it could be for a myriad of different reasons which is why it is so presumptuous of all of us to be analyizing the statistics everyday but, we do. The reason I bring this up is because there seems to be a serious trend, not just today but on most all of the days IIRC...I don't know...

If you go back to the OP, you'll see the TD drives and FG drives for each QB throughout fall camp. I don't have the breakdown of how many came against which defense or with which offense though.

I think they're pretty even on TD drives, but Heaps has only led the one FG drive. I think he's had at least three other drives that ended in a blocked or missed FG though.

Don't even give Airwolf a chance. Ban him before it's too late and he ruins cougarcorner the way he ruined cougarblue.

Airwolfe didn't ruin cougarblue. Overzealous censors did.
