Where the Crap are we Going to go Bowling?

I cannot imagine a 10 win BYU team, or even a 9 or 8 win team, not getting an invite to some bowl game somewhere. I am actually excited about not having to watch the Las Vegas Bowl every single year.

Fat Cats tomorrow night?

The move to independence will help us with better bowl contracts just like it helps us get more money and exposure during the regular season. There are plenty of bowl games that don't sell out that have a better payout than the crappy LV bowl.

It makes me laugh because years ago everyone use to complain about going to the Holiday Bowl every year but BYU MADE the Holiday Bowl what it is today, a decent bowl with a decent payout. I think BYU can do the same for the LV bowl, especially if BYU is in bed with ESPN on this Indy thing. I can't imagine ESPN keeping the LV bowl a lower tiered bowl too much longer, if that is truly a destination for BYU. I can see ESPN negotiating a better date, better payout and better opponent for the game because they now have a more at stake.
