I wonder if it's 3 in South Bend and 3 in Provo or 4 and 2?

this is what I want to know. I hope it isn't the equal of 2 2 and 1's, but a 6 year deal worth 3 and 3. Considering that ESPN will televise each Provo game, I like the chances of it being 3 and 3. BYU gets 3 NBC games, Notre Dame gets # ESPN games. Works great for both.

Holmoe said on True Blue tonight that it would be 2 2-1s (4 in South Bend and 2 in Provo).

Notre Dame joins Texas on that list of teams BYU will play 2-1. And I'm okay with that.

Notre Dame only does 2-1's with most teams. Most teams are happy to do that. BYU is one of them.

that great but it sure would be nice for scheduling purposes to simply play every year switching.

By scheduling Hawaii durring that time we get to schedule an extra game. I'm fine with using our "extra" game to schedule Notre Dame

This just in!

My super-secret insider sources are indicating that the 6-year TV deal with Notre Dame is most likely a 4-for-2 (four years @ Notre Dame, two years in Provo)...

Except for Tennessee 1 for 1, Washington 1 for 1, Georgia Tech 1 for 1, North Carolina 1 for 1.

Those Teams > BYU.

I'll give you Syracuse, they recently did a 2 for 1 with ND.

BYU=Syracuse.

I'll admit that there are a lot of teams that do one and done's with ND like Duke, SDSU, and Nevada.

It sounds like Tommy Boy turned a glass half empty into a glass half full.

6 year deal with ND!!!!!! ..... well, the reality is not as good as it sounds.

Every home game on ESPN!!!!! ..... well not quite, ESPN the rights to it, if BYU is good that year. Minimum 4 games and could be home or away.

You can try and belittle what byu just did all you want but name me one other university that could have pulled this off? Any other universities around that have their own tv deal with the worlwide leader in sports? ??? uh?????? Thats what I thought. We just quadrupled or better our money and will be on national television for every single basketball and football game. So belittle our six game series with notre dame and our guarantees with espn if you want to, but we don't care about your uneducated opinion. we have espn playing matchmaker for us. That is huge. They are interested in our success.

all we have to do now is win on the field. Its all set up. Up to Bronco now.

I don't have any problem whatsoever accepting that, in one way or another, Tennessee, Washington and GT could be considered > BYU. Multiple national titles, "dynasty teams," I agree.

BYU < UNC?

...

...UNC?

University of North Carolina? Like, the team that hasn't won a conference championship since 1980? The team that made 4 bowl appearances total in the last decade? I would happily ignore your trolling at the end of the post and concede you'd made a clean point, but UNC?!?
